What is SUCCESS?
The South-East Urban Coast Creative Enterprise Support Scheme (SUCCESS) provides grants for new or expanding businesses that are creating jobs in the Hastings, Tendring, Thanet, Rother, Colchester, Canterbury and Dover local authority areas.
It is funded from the Government’s Regional Growth Fund (RGF), and aims to help businesses to grow and flourish, and create new jobs.
We are currently updating our website, if you have any questions please contact the SUCCESS team on 01424 451014
What can be funded?
The grants are to support investment costs - ie the costs of starting up or growing your business. This can include extra staff costs, new or extended premises, and new equipment. These costs must be over and above your current general running costs, and they must also create new part or full time jobs, or safeguard existing jobs locally. (See FAQs for what counts as a job, and when)
The grant must also unlock investment that would not otherwise happen. You will need to demonstrate that you have pursued other reasonable forms of finance, including conventional bank loans.
